Koen Demyttenaere is professor emeritus at the faculty of Medicine of the university of Leuven (KU Leuven) and consultant at the University Psychiatric Center KU Leuven, campus Gasthuisberg in Leuven. His clinical work is within the Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinic and he is still involved in the training of the residents.
